Well I just invested some hard earned money for some Esab PPEs and I believe its worth the investment.

I will do a review when I get and complete the set. :party:

ESAB Globe Arc, a passive welding helmet with a large flip up shade #10 welding shield and a full light shaded face shield for grinding and cutting mode. Works great for all processes of welding as well. :2thumbsup:

ESAB New-Tech 9-13 ADC Plus, a non battery solar Auto Darkening Helmet with two sensors and large solar cells and viewing window. All knobs are located externally for ease of adjustments. :cool01:

Been using this hood for the past weeks and works great just like having an ADH on your head. My two hands are free to hold the stinger and the other piece to be welded, Yes its a passive lens helmet, you can see clearly what you will be welding through a " peep " at the lower portion of the shaded hood, then just slowly move your head slightly down to protect your eyes before striking a weld. Very convenient if I should say so., Simply no regrets in ordering this welding helmet.

No batteries needed and very light welding helmet, its cheaper too than an ADH. SIGH ! Its not available in the local market, can really be recommended to welding enthusiasts and newbies. :whistle: :chopper:
