Re: Hearing Protection

I used to use earplugs similar to what Jay posted, the only downside to it is that after a while it gets dirty. Because its porous, not all the dirt can be removed. That's why i shifted to earmuff type of protection, so that i don't have to keep on buying new plugs.

Re: Hearing Protection

i use to own a peltor comtacs and sordins and another one just forgot the brand what i like about the peltor and sordin is that it protects you from the loud noise while amplifying those things that you usually dont hear when your working with power tools or shooting in the range like somebody talking to you, i got both from eBay the price was abit steep but i was using it for military impressions and there where no substitute at that time, it really doesn't justify the price for what it does but some people would argue that there no price for a no good hearing hehehehe

anyway what im currently using are a pair of reusable earplugs high quality ones for 250 pesos got it from a music store in sm north really nice plugs imho

Re: Hearing Protection

http://www.wyler.com.ph/
Peltor H10A - 1,650 pesos ( no stock )
Peltor H7A - 1,450 pesos
Peltor H9A - 970 pesos

H6F (folding) - P1,750

At those prices, the H9A looks to be the most tolerable in terms of increment over US prices.

Re: Hearing Protection

Looks like good service from Wyler. I called Friday late afternoon and they delivered for free the next morning, Saturday.

Re: Hearing Protection

This is what I got for now. Howard Leight Max earplugs w/ cord. Unfortunately the dealer had only 1 on stock.

http://www.howardleight.com/family/index/1

Looks like the Peltor H10A is a good product. Check the number of amazon reviews.

Re: Hearing Protection

These work well so I'm not interested in the Peltor anymore. Too much gear to wear already and this design is not a nuisance to me.

That's good price. If I pass by I will stock on this. I think I paid 35 pesos in Binondo.

Which True Value?

Miller Spoolmate 100 Spool Gun
Victor Firepower 350 Oxy Ace Outfit
3M Speedglas 9002X AD Helmet
Makita LC1230 Dry Cut Saw

Re: Hearing Protection

For safety equipment, besides Wyler there is Top-Rigid which is in Quezon City, near the Aquino residence.
