Re: Workshop Safety Work Wears
that is why months ago i was on a hunt for the quietest vacuum cleaner....and i found the zekoki...its a dust monster but not an ear killer!
high frequency sounds are the ones that kill our hearing cells...and you will notice this when you often say...hah? hah? when talking to somebody....that is a sign you need to see an ENT and have the audiometry.
high frquency sounds usually affects teh 4000 hertz range of sounds..incidentally, this is the frequency range for normal conversation.
agh!
and it is also not recommended to listen to rock and roll via noise cancelling in-ear earphones while on a miter saw or plunge router works..the two most noisy tools that we have in the shop...
do you know the most quiet electrically operated woodshop tool? send in your answers and in the next EB i will give away a set of bosch progressor blades! a member can only send in one answer...so lets begin!

Ayaw na kasing mag-power up.
Re: Workshop Safety Work Wears
Since timber went there...
I propose digital caliper. (Under a nonrestrictive interpretation of 'woodshop tool'.) 🙂
