Sa youtube, tips nila sir Rosy ibang forums lang ako kumukuha ng idea then saka itry actual. Kung wala ka pang ADH, better buy one. Don't get intimidated by the heat, kuryente, etc. Just wear the necessary gear/clothing. Ang importante willingness to learn. Bili ka na ng scrap metal plates at various rods. Have fun!
If you want to learn how to weld, it has to start from you really, lots of YouTube videos on stick welding to follow or
better take some welding lessons sa TESDA, take the first step/stage which is SMAW or stick welding, there they
will teach you the proper way to apply weld beads step by step.
Kaya lang may babayaran kang fees.
Good Luck 🙂

Hello guys! I am interested in buying a DC inverter type welding machine to build a roof shed in our garage and gate fence and then for later DIY projects. Was originally eyeing for HiTronic 200A [as per sir rosy's recommendation] but I have a tight budget since pasukan na nman. Then Yamato 200A is supposed to be the alternative but I've read that the new variant's duty cycle is now reduced to 30% from 60%.
After careful consideration and lots of reading here and there, I've made up my mind to go for Powerhouse MMA 200A which also has a good feedback na pasok sa budget and with 60% duty cycle plus they have other power tools available as well. Then I saw this pic from their website which is quite different from the retailer stores [like the pic posted by sir parktikal]. Observations are as follows:
* equipped with handle bar, not sure if it has an attachable carrying strap
* with digital led display? [on the upper left]
* the input terminals are now at the bottom [and not vertically positioned to the lower right side]
* additional 2 buttons between the input terminals [not sure what are those]
* looks almost identical to their TIG 200A model except for the handle bar and led dispaly. But then I saw one on their FB page na may led dispaly na din.
* sticker on the bottom side says "MMA-220 mini" but i'm sure its 200A as per the product description [bad advertising!]
Very limited ang description at walang other pictures from the website but judging from the look it seems like this is an updated model of their MMA 200A. If so, I might as well wait for it to be available [ipon-ipon muna!]. Does anyone have this or seen this model? And how is the performance? Let me know your thoughts. Cheers!
