Re: bench grinder mount

be sure to wear safety gear such as face shield/goggles and gloves..cutting metals using angle grinder always pose danger to operator..

[IMG][/IMG]

then grinding sharp edges..

Re: bench grinder mount

if you will notice i drill each corner..this will prevent me from over cutting the corners.

[IMG][/IMG]

after done cutting..

[IMG][/IMG]

and now for bending the plate..5mm is thick and i cannot manually bend it with my bare hands..what i do is sinugatan ko lang ng konti yung plate ng angle grinder using thin cutting disk mga half way lang siguro bago maputol yung plate.

Re: bench grinder mount

this is where i attached the grinder mount..sa poste para mas matibay ang pagbaon ng dyna bolt.

[IMG][/IMG]

[IMG][/IMG]

dry fitting ...not done yet i'm just orienting myself if the height fits to me..

[IMG][/IMG]

and now for the second phase..need to cut and bend this to reinforce the base..

Re: bench grinder mount

Nice! You have a sense of orderliness in your workshop.

My circumstances are different from yours, but i have issues with rust and tools "disappearing" on a rather open space area.
