Re: Bugel's random projects

Bro bugel,

What's the diameter of the pipes you used, di kaya lumundo yan sa bigat ng naka sampay. You can also add 4 small casters sa mga paa para easier to move at any directions.

:agree: :soccer: :2thumbsup:

Re: Bugel's random projects

HEHEHE , ganun talaga, metal plates are expensive specially the 1/2" thick but you can opt for the 3/8" or 1/4" thick plate, then just add flat bar braces underneath for support to help prevent surface warping.

If you can find some source sa junkshop baka mas mura, selling at 35.00 pesos per kilo and depends on the size.

I asked one time my source if he can get me a full 4' X 8', 1/2" thick plate and he said prepare 10 to 12 thousand bucks and you'll get one. 😮 OOOOPPPPSSS, atras agad ako, :jawdrop: can't afford, HEHEHEHE, LOL :hysterical:

Why not slowly build up your supply of metal plate from the junk shop then weld them together then just grind down the weld bro?

Mga ilang kilo kaya sir yung 2x4x1/2? Or ilang kilo kaya ang table top mo..1/2 thick ang ginamit mo sir diba?

Yes bro bugel my table top plates are 1/2" thick sourced from a junk yard. Now I cannot say exactly the weight of the size you indicated but I can give you an estimate coz its very close to the size of panels I have which is 21" X 42". Why this irregular size? These panels are pre cut already from the junk shop and that was OK for me since each panel weighs a bit less than 50 kilos, "ANG BIGAT BUHATIN, DEAD WEIGHT", and I paid Php 1,750.00 @ panel sa 35.00/ kg. The panels will not be welded together but will be bolted to the main frame receiver, side by side, sobrang bigat na if all will be welded together. The size you wanted would be more or less weighing about 60 or 65 or less than 70 kilos and if you will multiply it by 60 to 70 pesos/kg, let's say for example 60kg X Php 60.00, it will be 3,600K or 65kg X Php 60.00, it will be 3,900, so on and so forth, that is if they will slice it new from a bigger panel. You are paying for the labor of cutting and the oxy-ace na gagamitin nila.

Dito sa amin, 50.00/kg ang charge pag mag papa putol ng panibago with the use of oxy-ace. :p

Hope this helps !!! 😉

Re: Bugel's random projects

Thanks sir rosy..ma dedehydrate pala talaga ang bulsa ko sa table top..hehehe..

Nag canvass ako ng flat bar, full lenght 4x3/8 thick..almost 2k.. I was thinking about this design.. http://toolmonger.com/2009/05/22/the-ultimate-welding-table/

Ang tricky lang dito..eh kung pano ma ii dead flat..pero maganda ang design nato sa mga clamping scenario..:)

Re: Bugel's random projects

Yes bro bugel,

I have seen these designs from YouTube, its by StrongHand tools, may mga versions pa nga na revolving yung table top. napapa ikot upside down and up again, 360 degrees ika nga.

Yes mahal nga ang flat bar that size, same here in our area, its almost 2K rin. To have it welded flat, you will have to start with your flat bar receiver frame, it can be a 2 X 2 square tubing or use angle bars na 3" X 3" X 1/4" para matibay at hinde lumulundo, mas masarap din mag weld dyan sa angle bars na yan, kayang kaya ang full weld compared to 1.5 thick square tubings. 😉

Re: Bugel's random projects

Fabricating aircon compressor belt tensioner mount..

This is the previous belt tensioner that I will be replaced because of the obvious reason..

Dahil hindi naka align sa crank shaft at compressor pulley laging nasisira ang bearing at fan belt..sir rosy ano kayang welding process ang ginamit dito? Lol! Parang bahay ng bubuyog ang pag ka weld.

Replacement part..

Here is the mounting bracket that I made..thick 1x1 flat bar..weld together..

Re: Bugel's random projects

Then bore pilot holes para ma I attached sa engine block..

Final hole for 12 mm nut size..

Adding support..

Full weld side by side..

Re: Bugel's random projects

Then bolt it in engine block..

Made a test run..make sure that it is align properly..
