The back of the metal plates has been painted with three coats of
BOYSEN Red Oxide. Not yet welded on the angle bar frame, I will install first the
main frame on its intended location then probably weld the plates or tap them
so it can easily be removed /dismantled just in case.

And so this is my first project for this year, started the works first week of Jan. then completed it a few weeks back, third week of Feb.

Nice! Kailangan mo talaga yan sir rosy..shielding gas tank lang bigat na eh..plus weight nang cart at machine..

pero sapantaha ko nanakit lang balakang mo tuwing ibinababa mo machine kaya gumawa ka ng ramp..har har!:p

You said it bro, the welding cart with the stick machines are already very heavy and then
the MIG machine with the gas tank behind is another back breaking apparatus

Actually the metal ramp was more for security reasons, when not in use I can easily haul
the welder/s up inside the tool room, lock the doors when not in use.

Mahirap ng masalisihan kung naka parada lang sa garahe lalo na sa gabi ! 😡

Sir rosy ask ko lang po may nabili po ako 300 amp yamato igbt. Max nya 300 dati ngayon ang max nya is 217 amp na lang. Ndi ko alam bat nag ka ganon. Nag aaral pa lang po ako mag weld...

Hi Gaslen88,

Bro, to tell you frankly I have no idea on what happened to your welder, that is sad
and very disappointing to find out your welder amperage output some sort of decreased
or should I say suddenly gone down. All I can say is go to where you purchased your
machine and ask if there is any service warranty for it so their technician can check your
machine if they have one.

If your machine was purchased at Dragon Prime Enterprises, I am sure they have
technicians there to service your machine. We have some members here who have
gone to their shop to service their Yamato 200 amp IGBTs but if you purchased your
machine from other dealers, that I do not know. I know how it feel to be disappointed with
the machine you've invested your money, naka pang hihinayang specially for you na nag aaral pa lang mag welding.

Matanong ko lang, sa TESDA ka ba nag aaral ng pag welding o sarile mo lang as in DIY lang?

Sir rosy salamat sa reply sa gigatools ko po sya nabili 300 amp yamato igbt, sa youtube lang po ako tumitingin pano mag weld. Hangang napunta ako dito sa site na to at nabasa ko mga post dito. Meron pala ganitong thread at malaking tulong to sa kagaya ko...dalhin ko na lang sa gigatools baka may tech po sila dun. Salamat po sa reply sa uulitin.

Hi everyone! This is my first time to share here at PHM. I am a new member and I really don't know how to start. I used to repair inverter type welding machines but old age and weak eyes have taken its toll. By the way I am also a retired welder/fabricator for more than 25 years offshore. So I have a few knowledge about welding/fabrication and repairing inverter type welding machines. (Electronics is my hobby) Madalas po talagang nagkaka problema sa digital display ang mga light duty inverter type welding machine. Most likely problem is the wear and tear of the current control knob. But since you said you are just a newbie sa hinangan so I am assuming that your machine is still new so I am ruling out wear and tear problem sa potentionmeter. Tho if you wish to experiment, you can buy a potentiometer with the same value and replace it. (Mura lang nman po yon.) Kung buo po ang mga segments ng led display na lumilitaw (there are 7 of them, or if the number "8" digit still appears) mostly likely trouble is in digital display driver. Hopefullly you can find the replacement part for it. The digital display may not be working properly, but you still can weld by just estimating the current adjustment and observing the weld. After all you don't need the maximum current of 300 amps when you are welding only 1/4" or 6mm thick metal. The electrode size we most likely use in our garage is only 1/8". But I would rather use 3/32" in most of my diy jobs, matipid sa kuryente bec I will only be using a maximum of 100 amps at di pa hirap ang machine ko instead of using 1/8 with 140 amps or more. To give you an idea if your machine is properly calibrated or giving the proper current for a certain size of electrode, here is pointer that may help you at madali mo ring matatandaan. With 3/32” size electrode you can do a simple calculation ( convert the fraction to decimal): 3 / 32 = .0937. Your current will be in the average of 90 amps, plus or minus 10 amps, depending on the thickness and the position of the weld piece. With 1/8 = .125 or 125 amps plus or minus 10 . You can do the same for 5/32”. Hopefully your machine is giving the actual current as the display indicates. Otherwise, markahan mo na lang ang dial indicator for the certain electrode size. I hope this helps.
