Back to the welding table. Then started the clean ups, grinding the excess weld beads with my 5" angle grinder and then finishing up
with the smaller 4" grinders.
After all the grinding, I'll apply for the meantime this rust converter or remover to protect the metal/steel while I work on the next frame.

And for the scrolls and how I manage to finish them, the larger ones up to the smaller bends.
A jig that I usually use and simply attach it to the bench vise for smaller bends.

Then also made a temporary jig as the scroll bends get bigger.
On a piece of thick plate, I bent and welded scrap pieces of square bars and a scrap steel caster.
And the finished scroll.

And for the larger scrolls, also made a jig with some bended square bars welded on the metal plate.

As I bend the square bar, I'd apply vise grips here and there as the thick plate is also rotated and clamped onto the welding table.
As I am done bending, I would check it with my original design on paper to see if its getting the right bend or form I was trying to achieve.

The bottom parts of the posts were bolted to the concrete flooring and then the top of the right post was just welded
to an existing metal support. The other one at the left side was screwed to the concrete beam using a plug.
