I started with the project last summer, its an on and off fab project because the weather was so hot.
I was not able to take pics of the initial stages with the planning, cutting and some welding of the parts. My base
main frame were old stocked scrap GI pipes which I have in the garage then some 3/16" flat bars and 3/16" 1 X 1 angle bars. I suppose this will be sturdy enough to be loaded with the bulky 300 amp YAMATO AC welder and some other welders.

This is were I started taking pics while working late in the afternoon till midnight.

Here I was already working on the portion on how the rear axle will be installed. 3/8" plate strips were welded
onto the GI pipes and some 1" x 1 1/2 steel blocks will also be welded on the steel plates.

HOW THE PLATES WERE WELDED ON THE FLAT BARS and GI PIPES :

Did have some bits of undercuts/or worm holes here and there but find it negligeble since its already the second pass to strengthen the welds.

To be continued later !

I have a spotlight directed toward the direction of what I will be welding. I even have a mini LED spotlight attached on top of my helmet.

Still working on the cart. Welded some 1 1/2" GI pipes for the rear verticals and 1 1/4" GI pipes for the horizontal and supports. Encountered some problems with distortions during welding the pipe joints but manage to correct them afterwards. Have to re grind and remove some finished welds and start welding all over again. uuuurrgggg some big hassle talaga !

After some few weeks or months of not working on the cart, rust started to creep in on the metal surface and have to do some de-rusting by using my DeWalt angle grinder fitter with a cup wire brush.

Now it appears as almost newly welded again, I guess I will have to wipe it immediately with the
Bronco rust converter.
Oh sorry for having no pics of the top side of the base, that part was also cleaned and wire brushed.

Of course bro meron yan but for now I am using a temporary nail lock kasi lagi ko pang inaalis yung rear wheels
and the front casters when welding is being done.

I will install the cutter pin lock when it is finally painted and before all welders are placed on the cart.

WORKING ON THE FRAMES OF THE DRAWER:

This is another stage working on the frames of the planned drawer for my welding accessories and what ever
used for stick welding. After a few weeks of not working on the cart, I started working again on the frames using some
stock 1 X 1 X 3/16 angle bars and some 2 X 2 X 3/16 angle bars.

Cut the ends of the angle bars with my 5" DeWalt angle grinder differently for easy fit compared to the other method of cutting diagonally.
