Bro, when I was in college, I used to jog in our area in Pasig, Kapitolyo three times a week to maintain some stamina and when I transferred sa the province (Baras Rizal) I would still jog around but got tired of it since haven't got time for it na and have become busy so I just purchase a Treadmill, a stationary bicycle and a Cyclone Elliptical exerciser from TOBY's.

How about Mountain Biking, I have a 29er mountain bike that I haven't tried in Timberland.

or Mountain climbing kaya..I, at 48, and my boys started climbing this year and already conquered three mountains..Taal Volcano, Mt. Batulao, and Mt. Stampang Bato. Next in schedule is Pico de Loro in ternate cavite.

Mt. Batulao is our most gruelling climb so far with 9 hours of bonding adventure. Taal is easy (3 1/2 hours) and Stampang Bato in Rodriguez is the steepest but short climb that really tested my endurance.

Very nice pictures bro Armand, Yeah, I guess mountain climbing and trekking is kinda fun to to do some unwinding and to be able to commune with nature. It seems its getting to be very popular now a days. My youngest son is into it as well and this hobby is getting to be very expensive too due to the fact that there are numerous accessories needed for the climb. 😮

My son is a member of the TRAIL ADVENTOURS, and have had numerous climbs this past years. Now they have a new group called "SAN AKYAT MO" and the one now organizing climbs. There group had just a very fruitful and successful climb somewhere up north in the Sagada area and the purgatorio climb two weeks ago. But sometimes me and swmbo would worry of his safety when he's out there with his group.

Yes ,Pico de Loro was his first climb in Cavite last last year and there were many more that I cannot remember anymore the names. Hope you are enjoying your climbs with your sons. :rofl::2thumbsup:

@armand. Nice to know Madami pang nag climb. If I may suggest try Mt. Makulot in Cuenca. Roughly 1.5hrs climb and nice view sa taas...

Mt. Banahaw is also good..

We will resume climbing after the rainy season and before the summer season (january to March)

Sorry no idea if it's open. We climb Mt. Maculot a long time ago and it was at night and raining.. First time I saw an earthworm as long as a 12inch ruler.. :p

Mountain climbing is fun, may mga kilala ko U.P. mountaineer, ilang beses na din ako na invite. Right now still training for stamina sa freestyle, planning to join the camsur ironman.

So far I've done numerous 21k marathon and 3 full marathon.

According to my son, Mt. Maculot is open inspight of the death of one climber this summer, well he went on a trek alone at night and maybe got lost and slipped. The closed destinations are the Mt. Banahaw in Laguna and Mt Mayon in Bicol. 😉

Copy that bro Rosy, still Maculot is highly considered as dangerous for beginners like us. Last night another news of climbing accident somewhere in Lipa batangas yata that one climber failed to return to base camp but found after four days alive but injured.
