Guys, I would just like to share my other side, I know most of you know me as someone who is just into metal working or welding since in the beginning I joined this forum, my focus has been always into metal working tools and welding. Well in my heart I am more of an artist as some of you also know, I indulge myself into welding/metalworking to know this skill so that I may also use its applications in the future for my art since I would like to go into a different level in art which is metal sculpture, that is why my interest in this skill has grown and has become more interested in its different types of application, from STICK welding (SMAW), and hopefully soon for TIG welding (GTAW), then to MIG welding (GMAW) and finally to OXY- ACETYLENE welding. I know all of this type of welding applications will be used for metal sculpting.
Any way for now let me just share some artworks that I have done this past years and hopefully can find time again to pick up my brushes and start applying paints on my canvas. Hope you enjoy looking at this artworks as I did enjoyed them specially during the process of creation.
This is a very very simple subject of a dilapidated "kaing" (basket) set in an afternoon sunlight. Done in oil colors and painted on canvas.
This is just a detail of the main subject which is the "kaing".
Another favorite subject of artists, the yellow vanda orchids, painted by using water base paints like acrylic, guoache and watercolor combined , painted on muslin cloth.

Another farm object or subject, done in a very detailed style of painting. I used oil paints and was painted on scratched tempered lawanit board to add texture on the painting.
Here's a detailed and close up portion of the painting :
Again another ordinary subject around my place, just got so interested with the play of different shades of green on the leaves. Its a watercolor painting executed on strathmore watercolor paper.
On this detailed portion, you will see the very beautiful flow of watercolor on the paper, do not mind the signature.
