vcrinfo is correct..
I used to sell this gadget (Automatic motion detector) months back but now i have no stocks on hand..Just look for the twin socket type so that you could put flood or spot light in one socket and alarm power source in the other..in my case i connect it to alarm and CCTV so that recording will activate only when motion is detected..Be sure you have no uninvited rodents and pets in your house that would cause on off activation..

This item is good but the downside is you help more the intruder by lighting his path while he takes all you properties :D..i think what he needs is an alarm activator or burglar deterent not a auto lighting..This one is good for garage and pathways but the the light were not too bright to deter intruder i guess..

I have one a flood light with infra red sensor installed a few years back atop one of my electric post and was very effective then, only thing is that since we have lots of trees here in my place, during the night bats would fly near its range of " eye sensor " and for sure it will light up immediately and it went on and on every night for less than 1 year until the bulb inside burnt out.

Well have to replace and fabricated a twin arm lamp post bracket with light on each end and never used the light sensor anymore. It kept my driveway and road lit up all night long. 😉 😀
