I bought a good quality Tapete last December in Binondo near T. Alonzo in Manila. There were two stores selling them and these stores were popular in the area. You may ask around soon as you get to T. Alonzo.

Re: Does anyone where to buy good tapete?

Thanks for the quick reply, guys. I was able to get info on both Ropa and Sunville. They are next to each other along San Vicente St.(215 and 217) in Binondo.

BTW, what type of tapete do you recommend? Table I got is just a generic junior size (8') that a friend offered to me on installment (too good a deal to pass). I figured at least it is one more thing my kids can play with when they come back home for vacation from college. So I am not really looking for the top of the line. But neither do I want a cheap one that won't last long.

Ron, in case my friend's guy can't do it, do you provide service in San Juan? If so, how much do you charge? Do you also facilitate transport? The table is still currently in Pasig City near Ortigas Center. You can either reply here or just PM me.

Thanks again.

Re: Does anyone where to buy good tapete?

hi sir,

im thinking that you could rent the transport but my man alan will be there to disassemble the table...then after unloading it in your place alan can rebuild it with the repairs/replacement/allignment needed...

ill just ask him how much would he charge..dont worry about me im free...im just helping alan land some extra, aside from his job at my shop...he is one of the best repaiman out here with experience in billiard tables so vast, so knowlegeable also about where and what to buy......but again always listens to what the guests needs...

im also thinking after the table has been brought to new state...the cues that comes with it surely needs some attention...he can also do that there if its minor repairs like tip replacement, etc etc...

for other inquiries you can always call or text me @ 0917-806-2909...globe # preferred so i could call and talk longer hours...:)

thanks and regards
ron

Re: Does anyone where to buy good tapete?

Hi Ron,

I will be arranging for the transport hopefully by next week. After that, I will talk to my friend's guy to see if he is available. If so, I will just let him do it. If not, I will be calling you.

Actually I think I will be calling you as well regarding the cues and I am sure, some other stuff. Just give me some time.

Thanks. BR

Re: Does anyone where to buy good tapete?

hi sir,

for your info....tables that are to be relocated are to be disassembled...every table that is...if not disassembled and transported as one...the marble/slate can be damaged / cracked...

so if someone would be with you on the transport make sure that is will be disassembled and be put back on your home na....if they refuse disassembling you are in risk of damaging your table...

again just for your info..thanks

regards
ron
