In some past thread, Timber suggested I share my epoxy work with you and further suggested we do it in my garage. I mentioned it'll probably be in January.
My only weekend free this month would be on the 28th so if enough people are interested, you're most welcome to come over and learn how to:
1. Apply epoxy resin for waterproofing
2. Sheathe with epoxy and fiberglass
3. Glue and fillet
If this thing pushes thru, I'll supply the epoxy and materials, everyone else will have to supply the food! 🙂 . I live in Antipolo, about 500 meters from Padi's Point so it'll be quite a drive for some of you. While we're at it, I'd appreciate if someone could show me how to tune up my old Stanley#4 and how to tame my bandsaw.
BTW, I am, by no means an expert on epoxies but I guess I know enough to share.

Chinese New Year is on the 23rd. It's a holiday.
Sorry. Should have been specific. Would a 1PM start be good for everyone? That way, I anticipate we should be done around 4pm at the latest so people driving in and out of Antipolo can avoid mall traffic or enjoy a cool Antipolo evening in one of the overlooking bars.
Early morning is also good with me. I'm always awake before 6am, including weekends. If we start in the morning, we can end by around 10am so you'll have most of the weekend still intact.
Do let me know your preferred time time. As it is 1PM stands. But I'm willing to listen to alternatives. I'm flexible.

Ding I have notified or invited bro Armand to be part of this EB since he resides only down Sumulong highway, sa may Masinag area, yes he is very interested, only thing now is the company he works for, now requires them a very strict 6 days of work as ordered by their new VP so ( sigh ) he cannot attend and he feels somewhat disappointed daw, 🙁 no more free SATUDAYS for woodworking !!!! :dead: 😀

I just hope other members who are into woodworking would start signing up, sayang din ang matututunan dito kung hindi matuloy or just a handful lang and dadalo.
May I suggest we start the EB seminar at 10 am for the chika chikahan then after lunch at about 1PM, the formal EPOXY DEMO seminar. Suggestion lang po, you may have others pa that will be more convenient for you coming from Manila. Thanx
