Might be useful for some of you here:
I like having yogurt and fruits every morning. But I find grocery yogurt expensive so I make my own. How?
First, you get one of those small, single serve non-flavored Nestle yogurt in the grocery. Get a liter of fresh milk; full cream or skim will do. Mix both lightly in a wide bowl. Cover with katcha or paper towel then leave undisturbed un-refrigerated for 18 hours. I leave mine inside the oven (switched off, of course!). Voila! You have yogurt!
You can adjust the waiting time depending on how thick you want it to be. Longer means thicker.
In making the next batch, you do this all over again but, instead of buying yogurt from the grocery, just use a bit of your own yogurt.
Great in the mornings with banana, mango, apple, strawberry, papaya, avocado, etc. I have mine with some hotcake syrup (yogurt is a bit sour) or sugar.
Enjoy!
Re: Homemade Yogurt
Very nice information bro Ding on this home made yogurt, yes my family loves em too, specially my two boys, they love anything with cheese and milk.
You are right bro, its getting very expensive buying yogurt from the groceries.

Re: Homemade Yogurt
Nice tip, Just tried it yesterday, SWMBO was happy with it.
Dumb mistakes will always be dumb mistakes, unless . . . . you learn from it, and then it will be learning experience.
Re: Homemade Yogurt
Hmmm...i think this is similar on what I do during my childhood but instead of culturing yogurt, I culture Yakult. I happen to skimp on my Yakult when I was a kid (you know how small is one serving) so What i do is I drink half then place the remaining half in a cup with water and place it inside the ref. After sometime, it would start to taste the same.
Will try the yogurt thing, thanks!
Re: Homemade Yogurt

I love homemade yogurt :thirsty: I also make it myself. However, I heat it up first and then put the bowl somwhere in a worm place. That way it's ready in a shorter time.
Hello. Nice tip, thnk
