the workbench should be done by then, otherwise finished or not finished papers will be passed...

Re: invitation: inaguration of my workbench

Until what time is this usually?

Weekends, I am under strict control of SWMBO so OK lang ba if we drop by (kung payagan) a few minutes before we head off someplace else? I can foresee SWMBO will get bored with a bunch of us sweaty guys marvelling at tools and joineries.

Grammy, We do understand that this is a manly thing that may bore the wife and kinds to death. So, you may do Jonathan's technique. He brings his family somewhere (mall, cafe, cinema) and then he proceeds to the EB. He just then afterwards meet his family again to continue their malling.

This way, he enjoys the whole stay without any much limitations, awkwardness or any needed extra attention to his family. He even gets to hide his new gears before the wife sees it 😀

Re: invitation: inaguration of my workbench

Ok. With great trepidation, I am signing in + SWMBO

1. Balarila (Ding Carpio) + SWMBO (Noy)
2.
3.
4.
5. joey (tentative) will definitely bring something....

Is this a "dry" affair? If not, I could bring a bottle of Jack that's been lying around the house. Otherwise, something more wholesome.

On the SWMBO thing, we rarely go this side of the Sierra Madre so when we do, SWMBO insists on driving all the way down to MOA where we could savor the best Buffallo Wings in town: at Hooters.

Naturally, I oblige because I do enjoy the...chicken wings and beer.

ha ha ha!!! at least my technique does works... for that moment, i have to think of another technique to convince my swmbo for the next eb :p 😮

since we live far away ( bulacan ) from master timbers place, that i think is the most economical, practical, and add to it, environment friendly way to make a day reliable enough. doing "window"shopping, groceries, watching movies, all in a day. tiring but the swmbo is somewhat happy for what you did.

and yes you might as well hide the exact count of the toys inventory...:p

you might as well try and find out...

i should have joined the handplane tuning, but the 1st eb happened a couple of weeks earlier...

and here's another thing, it's my 2nd daughter's b-day yesterday, we came to MOA, and celebrate her b-day, upon her request...hardly i'm having another technique to give the swmbo to join the inauguration...i know you know what i mean...

i don't know or i'm not sure enough if i can join the inauguration...

sad thing for me...

4. jarod (Aga Muhlach) will try to follow, got a fun ride at Nuvali in the morning.

If I may and for the record, the previous EBs didn't include any alcohol due to preference and safety since power tools and alcohols don't mix as well. But if your cellar is bursting with stocks, I'd be happy to adopt some as I don't drink beer :p

Kidding aside, the EB's are as fun and wholesome as it could get. Great for kids and the kids at heart!

where we could savor the best Buffallo Wings in town: at Hooters.

I'm intrigued, is it better than Don Henrico's buffallo wings?

Re: invitation: inaguration of my workbench

Copy on the dry (boring) party.

But I do understand why. Will rummage through the freezer if there's some more pate to bring.

Oh, Jarod, Bufallo Wings are different strokes for diff folks. I find the one at DH too sweet but know some friends who drool at the thought of them. I prefer the sourish ones like Hooters or Chilis. I actually think the one at Chili's are the best: flavor's excellent, you can ask for lots of blue cheese, and they only use the meaty half of the wing. But who can beat the "ambience" of Hooters?
