Re: midnight club...

That's great! This would also get your name going around once people get to see the table..

Would you still need to wipe the stain after you spray it?

yes, otherwise it will dry in 5 days... hehehehee.
I might prep the top with either sanding sealer (oil) or tung oil just to have an even color including the edges....

Re: midnight club...

Have you tried the NGR stain of Sphero? Based on its consistency i think it was meant to be sprayed..

haven't tried either, did have a chance to use several, will check their brands, so far it is ACE's stain that is my best pick...

the moisture meter they had was professional type, with built in hammer for depth and better results... there are cheap types already available locally for less than 2K...

Re: midnight club...

oh, oh, and the source has a good amount of Mahogany in stock...

and they have their own kiln drying oven too... I was told that it takes 25 days for the proper dryness is achieved, with a 6% moisture, I believe them...

not sure what you mean adjustable...
the guy did the choosing for me, I told him I needed the dimensions and without insects and checks... with a forklift he plowed to the closest dimesions that fits my requirement. and with his buddy, took us another 30 minutes to go through his stock, most were passing already, we just went through his stock just to get the best ones that we can get.... these men were very friendly and very industrious, no complain nor any action that signified it. they were quite happy as we went through their stock. he even told me which to choose and some tips on how to avoid young and wet wood....

Re: midnight club...

Adjustable meaning the specific gravity of the wood can be changed in the moisture meter.

good morning guys... with the conference table legs getting more difficult with a 3 winged design, I would probably stick with a 4 wing design....
