Do you guys think that Tools from US ( Powercraft / Torq ) will be the future Grizzly of the Philippines? Look at their products. Still more
robust than what Torq has.

Maybe Timber will need a Bandsaw for his new project 🙂

oh yes Jay, I need a bandsaw on ALL my projects. hahahaha, I did see the electric beckam bandsaw
and it is in my wishlist (115K) and will stay a wish. 🙂
that is a cool looking sander, but that is grizzly, haven't seen the torq yet, got a price for it?

No idea. I just borrowed the pic from GJ. It just crossed my mind why we still don't have quality like Grizzly here. Grizzly products are mostly Taiwanese if I am not mistaken. I saw the Torq belt sander in Hans. It looks cheesy.

I have seen one lone Knipex product in one of the Binondo stores and from the looks of it it was there for ages.

Try Channellock if you can find these at Panda. Good USA made. I have lots of their products and have not yet been disappointed with even one.

Nice pliers..I saw some german made end cutters at recto but i forgot exactly what.. do you think any german brand regards to handtools is a good choice?

I would think so unless it's a counterfeit. Best to go with the known brands.

I once purchased a "German" made wrench set at LYS. I went to go home and halfway I turned back and returned these. I could not believe the price I got so I exchanged it for a Jap made product in the same price range. Low price and good quality German made tools don't equate.

I purchased mostly Channellocks because of price... more affordable.

However to me Knipex quality is far way ahead.

You have a pic. Is it written Crestoloy? Crescent moved production to China already. If it's US its embossed on the tool.

I'm a tool nut kaya konti lang projects ko .... look at my folding table hindi pa tapos up to now. Lagi kasi ako sa Binondo .... layo pa naman sa Pasay kaya ubos araw. Sabi nga ng Swmbo ko bakit hindi na lang ako mag board doon. Tipid pa daw sa gas. 🙂
