That's good to know..hehe..when i saw your's i thought i got jipped.. how about sandvik adjustable wrenches? any good?

Bahco adjustables are the cream of the crop. No play whatsoever in the jaws. They are OEM for Snap ON. I'll trade my Crescent anytime with these.

He's old and just do that job everyday. Most of us DIYs can't possibly cope with that. but what's good about this man is he knows how to listen. Knows a good idea when he's presented one and knows how to incorporate it. He don't have time to do lots of research but being a team player he benefits too so does everybody else involved in the project.

Fakes usually are more found in very fast moving items like sockets and combination wrenches.

I have not seen counterfeit Bahcos yet. Probably too expensive to manufacture fakes for these products.

This is the 5" Vise. The 4" vise will now be installed in the mini welding table while the orange Pony will go back to the woodshop where it was originally stationed. It is not strong enough for metal working.

The reason why I'm investing on Record Vises is because they will soon be gone. It will be difficult to buy NOS once Panda runs out of stock. US vises runs in the ten of thousands and are not in my price range anymore.

Go for the 10" or 12" Bahco then because you already have an 8 incher.

I was surprised to know that my friend hand carried the Ridgid Pipe Wrench I bought in ebay for $46 ( found out I could even get it less if searched further and waited a bit more before bidding on what I got now) . These sell 8-9K here new. Waiting to receive it maybe by next week pa.

This is my first ebay US purchase of a used tool. With Timber perfecting the shipping setup ebay can probably be a good source for us of used tools in the future.

My GSR don't want to start since noon. It's stuck up in the garage now with a defective starter solenoid. Baklasin ko bukas pag sinipag ako. Busy pa naman ako sa mounting ng mga vises. 🙁
