Re: midnight club...

Musta mga sir? May mga UFC fans din pala dito. Was watching it also kanina while working on my temporary RT during commercial breaks.
Was able to finish mounting my GMR1 on my temporary RT (para magawa ko lang yung guitar rack). The acrylic sheet i used for the base plate is surviving the heat naman. I think that should do for now.

Good evening to fellow handymen and DIYers!

post pictures Dom, dito kasi no picture means it did not happen... 🙂

Re: midnight club...

What screw length would be needed if using 2" thk stock?

Not Kreg-specific, but in general, should be

(thickness / 2) / sin(15) - screwhead_depth + penetration_depth

assuming exit hole at center of thickness

assuming 15 degrees -- somehwere I got the impression that Kreg uses 15 degrees

screwhead_depth = how deep screw head is buried below surface, measured along the hole

penetration_depth = desired depth of penetration in workpiece 2

This calculation is sensitive to the thickness value because 1/sin(15) is a big multiplying factor, so thickness value used should be appropriately accurate/precise.
