darn is right, I don't think it reached the wood, and maybe they can live with it, but really that sucks. I don't mind helping since the customer is kind and reasonable, but the trouble is transporting it back to the court and back again...

I doubt that, with a shop that seems dust free will have space to make dust... lol...

The hardest part there is building up all the layers that was cut through..You might have to do some masking to prevent build up in other areas..

I don't even plan to go there. just to be sure it comes out well, I intend to sand it down to the damaged level (the WHOLE top) and spray from there. that way I won't have to match a certain portion which is really very difficult with the satin finish...

I'm sorry to hear about that timb, am aware poly's one of the toughest finishes out there, and it being a conference table, for that application it shouldn't be scratched like that.

I haven't got much to say. =(

hey Owyn, yes that was the reason I choose poly for the top, most durable for the application, unfortunately its not bullet proof...

funny the online box arrived this morning just several hours before I arrived... not much items there that isn't common here nor not much price difference (some even cost higher there). got several items for myself and considered some to sell (not available here of course and sold in two stores there only, one of which is china made and ones from italy, pero ubos na rin stock nila... binili ko na lahat :p)
