I'm also needing some JIS ( Japanese Industrial Standard) Philips #2. If you come across some locally please let me know. Sunflag, Vessel or Jap brands. Panda carried Sunflag but not anymore.

Aren't your Koken screwdrivers JIS?

Koken Screwdrivers are now IS0 9000 compliant.
JIS + screws have a dot marking on the head. These will strip down easily using regular Philips drivers.

@V I'm glad the info was of help. It started because I always stripped screw heads so I went on a quest to find the right way to do it but I got addicted to it ....
I think for woodworking Pozi Drive screws is a good the way to go . Looks like these are common locally too.

Hmm i like the wiha bit holder..There is still a lot of PB swiss items that are drastically reduced, but those items are not really attractive to get.
