Is that a planet or star? Seems unusually big/bright/isolated for a star.

I was winding down in the shop when my wife called me to see it. I think the start on top was the North Star ... just guessing though but it was very bright and it was in the north.
What is that thing, Timber? Is a top for the scrollsaw? I'll probably be making one too soon. Was working on the scrollsaw to wind down, thinking of what needs to be fixed or upgraded.

it is just a piece of 18mm MDF to raise the cut portion on the unused part of the scrollsaw blade...
