@timber: balita ko nga na kay Cal uli or nasa kanya pa rin. Napakadami talaga sigurong gamit ni Father kaya naman bale wala kahit nasa hiraman gamit nya. Balitaan mo ako sa BabyT ha, ayos yan mag-ro-rolling ka? Baka magtampo sayo yang mga tools mo sa dami ng oras na ilalagay mo sa tubes, maraming willing na maging care taker :p
Kanino mo nabili yung Hubble's, kay Cal din? Eh di pati power cord natin super customized na rin?
Also interested in Cal's ICs kung pwedeng gawin dedicated speaker cables dahil wala naman akong iiinterconnect in the first place 😀 Gusto ko yung RCA cables ni paololorenzo which IIRC is member din dito. Mas trip ko yung magiging solderless nya ang RG6 gamit pero di yata pwedeng pang BS cables.

i gave away my audio equipments when i had the opportunity to work abroad in 2000...
missing them actually...
what i only have now is the old Rotel amp (hinihingi na din ng brother ko) and a pair of monitor speakers i made 15 years ago.
still got the stacks of LP's eh..i dont know why i havent disposed them yet...senti...hehe
....still reminds me of how i begged someone to get me a direct drive stanton tt way back then...
and nakamichis and akai GX heads...polk audio's RM33 and infinity speakers....they are all gone. wuhuhu

ang alam ko matagal na ng kaunti kay Cal pinahiram ni Fr. yun.yung powertools ko naman nasa court na yung malalaki, kaya less dust na dito sa house (that is why I wanted to try tubes).
yung Hubbles naman kay Tamy/Skeesix ko balak kumuha, sinabihan din ako ni Cal kung anong wires ang gagamitin. then siguro after a month or so, I would need a DAC also from Tamy (Super Pro DAC yung meron sya and comes highly recommended and priced well) so I can play all my music from the computer or Ipod or whatever electronic source.
I know PauloLorenzo's works but Cal is top class dun. He also maked speaker cables for around 3.5K yata(not sure of the price) and is what I use with my system (also c/o Fr. Jim :D).

feeling very sick, but got news that I will be having a pair of mono-blocks. ah hindi yung upuan na mono-blocks ha? tube amplifier na mono-mono or one amp for each speaker. excited na ako gumaling, unfortunately tonight is the worse part of my detox. it is when I drink pure oil, (no, no hindi castrol motor oil :p) pure olive oil that should cleanse my liver of chemicals from oil based finishes and cigarettes(sana) :D.
isa pa pala, a good friend also offered to lend me his tube pre-amp to complete the system.... and like I always say "It is good to have good friends".
Now, please pray I get thru the detox with as little suffering as possible 😀
pagaling ka sir timber,try eating lots of tomatoes,it's cheap but very healthy,much better if it is organic.drink plenty of water(mineral or purified,avoid distilled)siguro time na rin to gradually quit smoking.i'm too is a smoker but only every after meal.(parang drugs).mabuhay ka sir!

Imho, it'll be good practice to replace the bearings. The delta bandsaw will need new tires (and blade of course.) But overall, I'd count ourselves lucky that someone crated these and brought it to our shores.
Delta unisaw should be in the ebay prices... not a steal, but a good deal considering there's no more international shipping involved... Kindly email @yahoo.com">purok5@yahoo.com.
