Yes, temporary eb date is after payday and when the boxes of tools arrive, temporarily set at Jan 18 or the saturday/sunday after.
sounds good to me, we can even have a project every eb if you like...

Re: midnight club...

For us we just did some stabilizer links / bushings replacement.

Hi JayL,

How would you know if it's time na to change it? Baka kasi ito yung cause ng "tok" sound ko when I turn.

Remember I asked about it before and baka CV or rack and pinion but it seems hindi naman. The sound is produced when I step on the breaks then do a tight turn lalo na kung inclined or malubak. tried it without stepping on the brakes and no sound is produced.

Re: midnight club...

Usually pag stabilizer link prob rattle noise yan.

I remember I had the same tok problem with my GSR before and it was Rack End causing it. However yours have a breaking issue so it's complicated. Probably the breaking gives it added pressure to cause the sound.

My GSR rack ends replaced.

The other side connects to the Tie Rods.

Bring it to Zafra and get a free inspection.

Re: midnight club...

Thanks Jay, I think the brake issue adds a factor on the sound it produced.

Btw, is Zafra still reliable and trustworthy? I asked this because I read a lot of negative stories about it and Cruven and Zee is more preferred.

Re: midnight club...

I was thinking, is a table saw with a dado blade more favorable than using a router when making finger joints? Or are there other factors that I am missing?

Re: midnight club...

lets ask timber...my two cents is that...both can produce tight fitting finger joints...if you have a TS and a dado blade then go for it..if you just have the router then there is no other option.hehe

but it is always fulfilling if you can produce tight fitting finger joints on either tools..

but frankly, the way i look at it..i would always think twice which is easier...changing to a dado or changing to a straight bit?

i guess you are not missing anything at all...no one can say one is better than the other for this purpose alone as long as you can produce nice fitting finger joints...that is the bottom line after all.

the one who is missing a lot is the one who makes finger joints from just hand tools.

Re: midnight club...

finger joints are easier to do on the TS, cleaner too since the blade cuts axially which makes it better. router on the otherhand will be more prone to tear-out since the bit moves radially. both needs a reliable jig to make accurate joints...
