Re: midnight club...

Can we analyze how this works.

NOTE: Do not read the text below not until you visit the link! 😉

This is easy but deceiving as well.

The pattern of questions has a certain logic that would only result to a set of possible answers (in this case, multiples of 9). This set of numbers will have the same symbol next to it so for any combination that you try it knows just the exact symbol for you. Actually, it does not know the specific answer but it already know that your answer will always be on the multiples of 9.

So why do you get different symbols? Easy, for every round it just changes all the symbols for all the multiples of 9 and some random number just for diversion.

Try looking all the values of 9 multiples on the symbol chart and you would understand all the deception 😀

Re: midnight club...

Heya everyone =). 'Cencia na, medyo AWOL na nga ako dito. I don't have much time after work for the workshop, and often i'm tired already so i don't accomplish much. Fortunate are those who can join the midnight club... I see ossie has got the welding skill down.

@violane
I guess it can be done with pure hand tools (except for some drilling.) But realistically, i sure want to have 7 routers, 2 bandsaws among LOTS of jigs and specialized hand tools! There's this guy in a forum who sig goes something like: "anyone who makes a guitar under 5,000 dollars is a hero!" A set of East Indian Rosewood cost me 4.5K and spruce cost me 1.5-2K for AA and AAA grade... and time... I want an extra 36 hours each day please =/.

I've lent tools to someone before and the resulting guitar (his 3rd) was a bit blah... if the fret spacing deviates by .2mm the intonation will obviously be off.

I wasn't sure I'd pass by festival but glad i did. Bumped into someone i made a bone nut for his guitar years back and that was the start. Currently i don't have a guitar =), voluntarily gave mine to an italian nun who was nice enough to give me the DP and lathe (restoration still pending.)

My motto these days is... kung may sisimulan, may matatapos ^_^.

Re: midnight club...

@doc v.
Workign with hand tools doesn't mean working free-hand right? Sounds intimidating but it must be in the jig. And making sure the errors don't accumulate, each cut registers to one point etc. Commercially available jigs - essentially a well made miter box- are .02mm IIRC ( accurate 1/10th of allowed variance)from the ideal. One could use it eyes closed and be good =).

Jig for the rosette, jig for the binding, for side bending, and so on...

back to real life... i got to sleep, work tomorrow =).

Uhm... the gf's on her junior internship next school year, so siguradong mas may free time nako hah! ^_^

@Moj.
punta ka sa sunday? I'll try and will bring the oiler if i can make it.
