Re: midnight club...

WAHHHH i havent been around this forum for.... two weeks na ata or three???

My addiction to watches bit me real bad. Watches are my first love, second aquariums and third woodworking....

I am guilty of spending more time in the other forum :(:(:(

and one thing led to another... i am now a dealer of an aftermarket watch band/strap/bracelet brand. first batch of shipment coming april 2nd... lalalala now i am doing reselling business.. patay na.

so many things can happen in a few weeks.

So Moji... akala ko nahugot kita papuntang darkside? 😛

Re: midnight club...

Yup i do

www.tungchoywatch.com

or search taikonaut strap. They have 3 websites. The third one is www.strapcode.com for some reason the straps in that site are more expensive.

I will be making a multiply site. benwatchandwoodworks.multiply.com

it just got up but still empty. I will be opening up and probably me making some mods of my own. For sale.

=)

Did you get yours already. The Ergo handles that I ordered are in Illinois already. The rest are shipping soon.

The pictures I posted were borrowed from GJ. They inform that the handles on the ergo sets are removable too.

It seems not so very heavy. Irregular sized cargo and probably is crated.

Re: midnight club...

Question though, is the Grizzly G0555 not a good alternative? I asked because this two are the most reviewed head to head and it's way cheaper as well.

I believe Guad ordered one, it should be around or maybe about to arrive. Now while the Rikon cost a bit more than the Griz, it comes without the need of a riser block (unlike the griz). feature per feature the Rikon is ahead and for the Griz to be at par, you would have spent a bit more than the Rikon.

I might be mistaken but the price of the Rikon seems double that of the Griz so there must be something there for the Rkon.

None the less from the pic the Griz looks to be a well built band saw too.

the GO555 uses aluminum wheels and needs a riser block among others just to be close to the Rikon. Even then the depth of cut is still slightly lower than the Rikon. Like I said, buying the Grizzly GO555 would be more expensive than the Rikon when they get to the same level.
Another choice would be the GO555X for a better starting point. even then the Rikon would end having better value... IMO
