Ei sonny,

Finally got to use the leigh jig for dovetails! haha! Just going out and doing it does make it simpler than the manual makes it out to be. Had fun doing it.

What do you use to make the router slide more smoothly on the jig? I tried candlewax, which works but only for a while..

This is the nerdiest jig that I've ever seen. Listening to the guy makes me wonder if he really is a woodworker or a nerd este engineer. Jowk!

No it shouldn't. you put wax on the fingers and the router base, both of which will not contact the wood anyway...

btw, after waxing those, hold the router firm, it tends to slide very easy 🙂

Good idea.. this box making using the leigh jig is getting addicting hehe.. got to prepare more stock..

unless you have a dedicated space for the Leigh, it is the setting up and putting aside that is the pain. otherwise it is a terrific tool.
