heto ang proof ng kulam he he..si adzz walang dalang pangontra kaya maraming nahakot ako meron kaya walang stock ng Skil Router :).

Showa 5/8" Drill Press, medyo over size sa need ko pero ok lang sa few hundred bucks na difference.

heto tinetesting ng little woodworker ko.

Initially had a hard time fixing the arbor to the spindle, despite carefully following the instrcutions the chuck kept falling off. A light tap from the bottom using rubber mallet solved the issue. So far ok naman, sa laki nya medyo alanganin gawan ng cabinet.

Armand, if you ever measure runout on that drill press, would be interested to know.

Is that made in China? Taiwan? Japan?

I remember seeing 'S2 30 min' on the nameplate. Any clue in the manual what that means?

guad I'm afraid i can not give you precise runout measurment as i don't have a dial indicator, one thing i can assure is no wiggle and vibration is minimal. What I did is after boring a hole i turned off the machine and re-inserted the bit, masikip naman.

The manual too doesn't say anything about s2:30mins but google indicates it as Input power.

Its made in China.

The nice boards of kamagong on the background caught my eye. Nice stash =).

When drilling metal, and when using torquey bits like forstners or circle cutters the workpiece must be held securely. I use c clamps and the built in vise but it's a bit awkward and haven't really rectified the problem with an elegant solution like a DP table...

ADZZ, great score on the record vise. Really nice.

I swear, owyn will do the panda on the weekend! *composes a laundry list of things to buy, with consideration to budget and tool usefulness*
