actually, it was an advantage Jonathan got dun sa 1st ww contest and it wasn't in the rules.
let us make it this way...
you can bring props for the finished product... BUT, during judging, it will be removed to put everything on level footing...

Re: Philconstruct 2010 Nov 12-14
sneak preview or feedback of the event?
Re: Philconstruct 2010 Nov 12-14
bring big clamps if you need them, it is also wise to bring your measuring and lay out tools too.
so much isn't available so we just have to adjust, I suggest a block plane would be handy since most boards are a bit rough...
remember these are power (hand) tools, but the small rt is available 😀

what do you mean big clamps, those pipe clamps?diba we are entitled to have a workpiece of not more than 4 pcs of 1/2x3x18 palo china?
Re: Philconstruct 2010 Nov 12-14
I think it would also be better to bring out own safety gears as well (dust mask, eye glasses, gloves, ear plugs) <- exagge na yung iba 😀
Could we also bring our own chisels, hammer, etc?
Re: Philconstruct 2010 Nov 12-14
well if you are working with 18" wood, I guess you don't need a 6ft pipe clamp... they have 6" ones... if you intend to clamp lengthwise bring the nec clamp... a 22" clamp should be more than enough... unless you plan on using the supplied wood and glue them endgrain to endgrain, then bring nec clamp...
