I was successful and was able to drill hole in the stainless steel tubing by first making a real small hole on the tubing so that the drill bit will have something to start with, unti unti kong pinukpok using my very pointed spare hole punch until I was able to make an initial hole, then little by little and slowly drilled the required size of hole that I needed. SUCCESS !!!!, I was able to weld and finish one part of the current DIY project last night. Hehehe, paraan lang pala at tiyaga ang kailangan, today I'll be doing the other part/portion.

Bro ... do you happen to know a place selling receiver tubes for 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" square tubes. I can fabricate these but was wondering if these are available locally.

Can't do welding or metal works this past few days and perhaps the coming days, garage floor is so wet/damp, power source is on and off due to sudden surge of strong winds and heavy rains, plus have to attend to the property for clean ups, clearing. 🙁

Maybe I have to buy a larger powersaw, two large ipil trees have been uprooted, :frown: , sigh ! sayang yung large trunks, maybe it will be useful for some wood projects after milling and drying. :rolleyes: The smaller branches will just be to fuel energy/firewood( pang gatong ).

Sorry mga bros sa PHM at hindi ako nakaka join or login sa forum, very very busy lang po sa property, clearing some fallen trees around the place, been cleaning driveway of continues falling leaves blown by strong winds and rain plus napaka bagal po ng internet connection ko this past two weeks, I guess due to the heavy monsoon rains or whatever.

Ngayon improve na connection at mabilis na po, TY !!!

hehehe, Hindi naman, thanks bro, anyway yang nga ang problem if you live in a place with lots of trees, kalaban mo hangin at bagyo, napaka dumi sa paligid, puro dahon at mga sanga na naputol.

Buti na lang hindi uso baha dito sa amin !!!

Another thing here, I found sometrhing sa WeldingWeb a few days ago, a very worthy metal project that can be very useful and practical for us metal workers here, joseph_zinsk, contributor sa weldingweb says its ok if we copy his bending jig or do some improvement, he posted it so that others can also make one, no problem with him.

I do not know if you have seen it but for me it is very interesting and will be very useful. I plan to make one too with some changes or improvements in the near future, hope this will be very useful for you to bro Jay.
