If you notice their status " awaiting email confirmation" instead of registered users. The software sends an email link to registrants which they should click to confirm the subscription and be registered users.

Probably the software should be programmed to auto delete registrants who don't do the email link confirmation step ( say after a given duration of time has lapsed ).

Ask ko lang po sa ADMINS, may I suggest that we have now some additional new sub forums under the Metalworking Forum for like STICK WELDING (SMAW), MIG WELDING (GMAW), TIG WELDING (GTAW), OXY-ACE WELDING and CUTTING, and PLASMA CUTTING. 🙂

Since most of us metal boys do stick welding, and bro JayL has a MIG welder and oxy-ace cutting equipment, plus other members have bought themselves some TIG welder and eventually most of us guys will be upgrading sooner or later for other forms of welding machines or cutting equipment. Purpose of this changes or additions is to perhaps organize each welding processes and some corresponding WIPs. 😉

Hope this could be given some considerations since the metal boys are increasing in numbers already.

Bro I think sub forums creation is beyond admin power. Probably best you PMl pinoyhandyman and put al request for this so he can consider it.

OK bro, but do you think its a worthwhile idea and move for the creation of these additional sub forum under Metalworking Forum ? I just want to get your take/opinion on this before I send a PM to pinoyhandyman for the request.

For now I don't think we have enough traffic to necessitate sub forum creations. However this can be double edged too as sub forums tend to simplify things thus probably generate more interest in particular welding processes as information would be easier to find.

I'd favor sending in a PM although presented as an idea for now. We'd know the owners stand on such issues and if positive then detailed study and plans can be made before a layout update is finalized for submission.

Let's also hear what other admins and moderators have to say on this. Equally important as well is if members chime in on this issue too..
