i also collect concert vcd/dvds (for 25+ years now), especially those of the 60s to the present ... i stop counting how many i have in my collection ... what i do with them is load them into my laptop and then edit/modify each of the dvds and then split them up to each individual song ... basically turning them into MTV videos ... then i simply get all the songs that i like and then load them into my iphone and create my own video playlist ... it's far better than just music because you also have video 🙂 he he he ... and when i'm travelling, i just bring my trusty cables and simply connect my iphone to any tv and i can listen and watch while working ... my favourite are folk, melo rock, and all the songs of my generation 🙂 he he he ... cheers

Boo!

Sir Boo...sounds very old school...I am looking for this kind of stuff too...especially ROCK concerts with good sound and VID quality...

by the way sir 25 + years sounds like a quarter of a century...may I ask how you manage to preserve your disk...that is my main problem now...

I have like 4 big boxes of DVDs and I stopped buying it...I am now on downloading from the NET...I have like 6 HDD of 1 terabyte each and 5 HDD na tig 500 GIGA each....I have like 3 terabyte of quality porn...hehehe....and all the movies , TV series....MP3s....

Yes I have a couple of genuine PORN DVD....like 30 to 40 euro/USD each....booth from Paris and New York.....those are my souveniers of my travels....
may I ask how do you save this kind of things...I am afraid it will not readable sooner...

@ bakman, any one at my age are always called old school (to me it's a compliment), just like wine, it gets better as it ages 🙂 ha ha ha ... i'm really more into the song and not the artist perse, it just so happens that most of the songs i like are really from the artist of the 70's to 90's ... but there are some new artist that i like the songs, michael buble (ala Frank Sinatra ang style) for one. i have a number of buble concerts in my collection ... keep-up of VCD or DVD does not take a lot of time, once a year i just check each one for scratches and then just use a cleaner to remove the scratches if there are any and then put them back in their sleeve ... VCD/DVD will normally last for 50+ years as long as you keep them clean and store it in a cool normal room tempreture without too much dust flying around ... with the cheap cost of HDD now, after i have transferred it into my laptop and edit/separate the individual songs, i really don't have much need for the original VCD/DVD except only as proof that i do have an original copy of the songs i loaded into my iphone/ipad/laptop ... i have already copied all my collection into HDD in a NAS that is connected to my home network so listening/watching any of them is quite simple 🙂 ... i also have a lot of OPM concerts in my collection like MYMP, Side A, Freestyle, Regine V., Sarah G., Parokya, Lea Salonga, Sitti, Nina, etc. My most cherish one is from APO which is a VCD concert (videoke type), i think this is the only video that they made. Listening to APO brings back memories of my college days at UP Diliman. My org then sponsored an APO concert at the UP Theater. I also have lots of concerts DVDs from Eagles, Queen, Tina Turner, Barry Manilow, etc ... the ones I cherish are the hard to find ones like Jim Croce, Bonnie Tyler, James Taylor, Pointer Sisters, Kyle M ... i will normally buy a concert VCD/DVD even if i only see 1 song that i like, just to add it to my collection ... i just don't tell my wife the VCD/DVD that i buy, if she happens to ask how much it is, i just always say it's cheap, only $10 SGD 🙂 he he he ... you just can't put a price on something that you have been collecting for so many years ... cheers

Boo!

If we don't mention our main activity my side hobby is video games. I play a lot and different from flash games like snailbob https://snailbob.io/snail-bob-7.html to big AAA titles like God Of War or Red Dead Redemption. All of them are great for relaxing and getting emotions.

Personally, my side hobby is astronomy and everything that is related to it. I have even bought a telescope to observe stars, nebulas, planets. Moon is really beautiful when close, you know. Unfortunately, I won't be able to observe different famous comets like Hyakutake https://solarstory.net/comets/hyakutake but still there are so many things in the sky.

I also like collecting favorite movies! Most of all I like the Eleven friends of Ocean. I am very interested in gambling and stuff like that, so i have always been looking for the best gambling site in the Internet. I stopped on cryptocurrencies. So my choice is the best bitcoin lottery. It is really a very big fun!

Lotteries are fun! However, I'm much more into casino games, like one of my favourite movie characters - James Bond :))
That's why I really like to play blackjack, poker and crypto dice
