Dumb mistakes will always be dumb mistakes, unless . . . . you learn from it, and then it will be learning experience.

Re: timber715 woodworks

after the stint on SMX I found time to work on the stool seat...

gluing is tricky, so I shot several brads, that should hold it well while the glue dries...

then I sanded, applied blo and sprayed wb poly (first coat)...

then I even had time to sand, polish and assemble the second rack for the hifi show... now ready for delivery just waiting for the schedule.

Re: timber715 woodworks

He-he. For a while there, I thought it would be fun spinning around on a stool with this axis.

Re: timber715 woodworks

hmmm, been thinking of upgrading my Makita Compound Miter Saw (not the actual picture)
to a SCMS that fits my shop... maybe this one...

If I can only sell the LS1040 to add for a new saw.... anyone interested?
Si Chisel kasi nagdala ng Diwalt eh... nakulam yata ako. huhuhu

Re: timber715 woodworks

Why not this one instead?;)

[IMG] [/IMG]

BTW, tthe two rods on my SCMS (where it slides) have begun to rust. Should I sand it? What lubricant should I apply to prevent rusting?
