Re: timber715 woodworks

^Ninong Ding, If the intended finish will protect/prolong the life of your Mahogany WB then I guess it would be worth it. Merry Christmas :santa2:

I agree with this Ding...kelangan pa rin ng i-finish to slow degradation of the top. Mine I plan to re-sand the top and re-finish again.

Re: timber715 woodworks

Ding, the rack is made of angular bars 3/4" x3/4'" and is not very thick. The construction (frame type) is what gives it strength, though I really don't think a thicker or more robust material or construction is need. As it is, its already more than enough. Scrap yan ng Bosch na itatapon na sana binigay na lang sakin...

the wb naman is actually in good shape still except for light stains. You should finish your wb for better protection, plan at least two weeks for full protection on yours....

Darn! Tinatamad na kasi ako. Kala ko nakalusot na.

Thanks for the info on the rack. Will have to find myself some nearby welding shop.

BTW, I like the pink duster!

Re: timber715 woodworks

yesterday we tried making mortice and tenons with the fmt using scraps... ended making a frame of some kind. Today I added some inlays and a plexiglass and an mdf backing....

I think it came out nice with blo, tomorrow I hope it would lock nicer with poly.....

it is already dedicated as a gift for a good friend.
