I have not yet bro buy I believe some members had. The Kreg screws are very good thus personally I don't recommend using replacements.

Your projects will somehow dictate the type of screws to use. Other projects would be ok with generic screws but special ones would be best served by original Kreg Screws.

iba kasi ang kapit nung orig na kreg screws....self tapping na, it also pulls the two pieces being joined together..unlike if you use other screws.
pocket hole joinery help us build something quickly...i guess its just not right for me to skimp on screws...
yes you may use other type of screws but i suggest them to be longer than needed..and add some nice glue.
