hi,

i'm in the hunt for a shop in metro manila that offers tig welding services. i had a piece here that needs this kind of weld. i need a really skillful one that could do good patterns (and penetration of course)

any shops, let me know.

nope, just wanted to add additional seam weld to some suspension arms that i'll be using - need to perform this step before totally stripping off paint and powder coating.

Probably MIG welding will provide better penetration .... just a thought.

Try motorcyclephilippines.com. I remember seeing some members at the Motorstar forums doing TIG and probably MIG welds. I think it's Rageworx.

take note you have to do post weld heat treatment on aluminum (if the alloy is heat treatable). this is not optional. aluminum is very weak in the heat affected zone if you don't heat treat

unfortunately aluminum heat treatment isn't very easy to do in the backyard LOL
