does this qualify? PVC masking tape. seems to hold very well, not leaving any mark or adhesive once peeled. currently sold till sunday only at the State Center Building in Juan Luna, Binondo Manila.
this sold for Php 41.00
the thinner one is Php 33.00 and the foil tape sells for Php 77.00

Nice find! I've been looking for that kind of tape. That is the tape now often used in the U.S. for masking.
ADDED:
The adhesive that get's left from the ordinary tapes can be removed with acetone. Pure acetone works best, nail polish remover is heavily diluted and I suspect contains other "stuff" too. You can get pure acetone over the counter at Mercury. They'll ask for your name and address though as I think it is also used for illegal activities.

the tape is not quantity limited nor would it stop the selling of the item. yung discount lang ang limited time. how would you use acetone on a painted surface after removing the tape without damaging the paint? verrrrry carefully? lol

I've used acetone on epoxy and acrylic paint with no problems. Enamel I don't know. What kind of paint is nail polish anyway?

Sorry, I meant, the price. :p If it's any help (just for comparison's sake) 3m painter's tape here is about PhP600 for the 2" one.

I found two new surplus tools on sale. but there are only one of each left after I purchased these...
both are Ozito's the compound miter saw sells for Php 1,200.00 and the belt sander is Pho 400.00. what are left are not as nice though, but should still be worth it for the price.
