I saw the kapro combi square at hans tools today. The kapro seems to be a little bit better built that the stanley

that may be a mistake since the no.3 costs 2K iirc. grab it if you need one, very good price 🙂

will check where mine is made. the blade has to be SHARPENED not just honed...

the handle is plastic. I am guessing JayL's no 4 is wooden handle

Caster Wheels - I don't know if the prices are good. You be the judge. So far I have used these and had held up well.

As much as possible I put wheels on anything that needs to be moved in the shop for easy access and cleaning.

That's Timber's former Phil Thein baffle passed on to me. Very effective in catching saw dust and wood chips.

At mall hardware stores, I saw pre-packaged stainless steel bolt+nut+washer sets marked 'Jovanisan', so I assume that is the same supplier.

A spec that you usually want to know when selecting casters is the rated capacity. Yet for some reason, this rating is not commonly displayed (assuming it is even known). So far, outside of Binondo, and starting only recently, I have seen only one branch of one store (Ace) show this rating, and only for one particular brand (Creston).

I don't know if Binondo is any better.

been using them too for a short while. and while they leave no residue, they also stick very little, they are great for posting messages sa ref., make sure lang you use a small piece of paper or they will fall off. got several don't like em much, get the duct tape instead....

I reckon, use 3M instead same price lang naman. Stanley is known for their tools, not for their tape...

Promo on Bosch laser rangefinders --- anyone have or used these, DLE 40 and DLE 70?

Not sure that this is really a 'bargain' but at least the discount brings the price more in line with UK prices, and with the US prices of the US models, DLR130K and DLR165K.

anybody heard about the shangrila fire sale? is this the one in edsa? I heard that True Value was closed due to this. they might be on sale too... only till 8pm today if anyone can confirm. finishes are great bargain when it comes...
