I was just in touch with Bosch Philippines and they are wondering if we are interested in a little get together/seminar/tool demo with them. the hitch is we have to at least be 20 participants or more ( I already asked another group or site to join us to get the numbers just in case ).. they will host this even and probably be free of charge. I specifically said that we are a woodworking community (D.I.Y. and not commercial) and that we are focused on acquiring tools specific to our trade. they said that we will be introduced to their upcoming models and the ones we probably have already. He also hinted that we might be able to order tools not available locally with a Bosch brand thru them with a 220 Volt configuration.
I do need the interested parties to please sign in so we can arrange for a schedule...

Count me in but it really depends on my schedule and the location. Sailing season has started so most of my Sundays are full, and some Saturdays as well, I've also my new boat to build. Just the same, set a date and I'll do my best to be there if only to chew the rag with you guys.
The PhilConstruct tradeshow is slated for Nov 13-15 I think that would be a nice opportunity for tool freaks I think.

opened today and will go on till Nov. 15 Sunday. Bosch has sent us an invitation to see a program (fashion & technology show) at the Bosch booth tomorrow at 4:00PM. I will hopefully be there to see it myself and perhaps on Sunday again. this is a good chance to see the tools, materials and the people that make them work. I have also been informed that one of my favorite tool store will be part of the exhibit namely Panda Construction Supply. Hope to see whoever can go and meet you. Remember if you do get the chance to visit these booths, please register as a Pinoy Handyman member so we can be recognized as a group.

i'l be passing by Philconstruct this sunday to see whts new. sana may magandang table saw, il planning to buy one as an earl christmas gift for myself. i saw the Makita table saw this morning and drool drool.
i'm also interested in the Bosch thing, depends on sched and location. im from fairview so medyo palabas pa lang medyo 7 km na pabalik ng civilization.

I am wondering if (and hoping that) this is still a serious suggestion, with strong chance of happening this year, and applicable to Bosch 4100 table saw.

I do hope we can order from or thru them. as far as the ts, I know that the asian and uk market uses a different model for their ts and is not yet the same as the 4100 ... I could be wrong though.
