Re: CHIN Table Saw
What is the arbor size of your Chin saw bro? Most of the blades I have are for US model saws and have 5/8" arbor hole. Very important to get the arbor size correct when shopping for aftermarket blades.
I have a Chin TS (sitting somewhere gathering dust). The arbor is 5/8 and it is long enough to accept dado blades.

I do have some 40 teeth 10" x 5/8" arbor sized carbide blades. These are Made in Japan and I would price these aggressively in the local market. However currently the blades are still in the United States.
bro JayL, the arbor size is 5/8".
i'm looking at your Oldham 100P 10" 200 Tooth Plywood Blade or Oldham 6-1/2" x 140 B650P Tooth OSB Plywood Saw Blade at your sulit shop.
up to what thickness of plywood this blade can handle, pwede rin ba sa palochina wood?
or i can just use my OEM blade with the TS for ripping palochina wood.

For the table saw then probably the OLdham 10" for Plywood. I'm not sure how it will handle palo china althougn this wood is soft as we know. It's just that I had nobody to give me feedback on this. Most of my buyers use it for plywood or bamboo.

Re: CHIN Table Saw
Hi Bro Jongzky. Congrats sa pag purchase mo ng Chin TS. It is a good buy na kasi malakas ang motor nito and you can feel it pag ON mo. True ang cut na at OK nman ung blade na nakakabit. Maybe this TS will stay with me for quite sometime till ibigay sa akin ng brother ko ung Delta TS niya. He's got a lot of powertools and all of them are Delta. He cannot do woodworking na dahil sa dialysis sessions nia.
Bro enjoy your new toy. Hehehehe. Ingat ingat at ingat pa.
Re: CHIN Table Saw
Bro Gregg thanks you, tama ka malakas yung motor nya, it got 2hp on it, the only downside lang na nakita ko eh yung base nya na mukang breakable plastic aside dun everything is ok naman, kaya i'm thinking of re-enforcing the base baka kasi pag pinatungan ko ng mabigat mag crack or mabiyak yung base.
:thanks:
Re: CHIN Table Saw
Bro Jongzky, ok na din ung plastic na base as long as sturdy ung patungan mo. If magiging palipat-lipat ng pwesto ung ts mo, dpat cgro me castor un na me brake/stopper. I temporarily mounted it dun sa nasir ki na gmc table saw ko. In the future cgro ipepe-frame ko sa angle bars un then i-mount nang maayos sa table. Hope you'll enjoy your ts, hehehe, nakakatakot pag first time na i-on eh, sa lakas ng motor akala mo lilipad eh. Bro Jongzky and to all the PHM members, ingat ingat lng po tayo.

Re: CHIN Table Saw
Bro Gregg, your right dapat talaga na fix yung plastic base nya when using it kasi salakas nya parang lilipad :D:D:D

Re: CHIN Table Saw
Bro jongzky, yes me gamit ako na push stick, from my departed gmc ts. You can make nman using the pattern provided dun sa last page yta ng manual?

Re: CHIN Table Saw
bro jongzky, pare ingatan mo lng ung pagpihit pihit pag adjust mo ng bevel, mahina ung teeth ng plastic ng chin, hehehe, nadale ung sa akin eh
Re: CHIN Table Saw
Re: CHIN Table Saw
Just want to share my Chin Table Saw and some upgrade that i'm currently doing.
cover all vents with foam to minimize noise coming out from the motor...
since this is only for hobby use, overheating of the motor is not an issue.
By the way, I was able to acquire this Table Saw from another PHM member. thanks 🙂
future upgrade
-place cover under the saw and vacuum attachment to collect dust 🙂
-add motor soft start circuit < nakakatakot kasi pag turn on ng Table saw na to ang lakas ng motor hehe
