I rent mine at ATGAS TRADERS in Taft Avenue somewhere not so near Edsa. 5K deposit if I recall correctly.

So you don't buy the cylinder. But how much is argon gas itself alone?

Maybe around 3K for the big tank of pure argon.
Myself I use Arco Gas ... 80% argon and 20% CO2 for my mig welder.

Thanks Jay. I'll just get a small cylinder as the one I saw in your Welding EB. Sayang I missed that event. Came in so late in this site of yours. Now i'm back reading a lot.

I tried to shop for argon gas today here in Marikina and Antipolo area and the prevailing prices are P2,300 to P2,700 for argon gas and P5,000 to P6,000 for cylinder deposit with free delivery. Maybe next weekend i will eventually get one.
