I saw some interesting power tools by hilti (no table saw though 🙁 )
their cordless drill/driver/hammer are supposedly lighter (and i think they are when i held it) and uses les voltage but performs as good as their higher voltage counter parts
Their circular saw looks sleeeeek. and i bet the price is too. They also have a cordless circular saw running at 36volts.
the cordless CS would do a great deal for me since i use my CS alot
Anyway, its good to know more brands are coming in to the country 🙂

Hilti has been around for a long time, the thing about them is they deal highly with the industrial side of their tools. they hardly market their tools for DIY, hence they are not visible to many of us.

agree, my hilti hammer drill bought from kuwait lasts for almost 20 years no repair and no carbon replacement. and since they are already here in philippines i bought 3 units and im satisfied on its performance and price. the agents even come to my office to check the units from time to time

Kchan, how much higher is their price range compared to Makita/Dewalt. Coz if i do get a tool from them it would be the cordless circular saw. tnx

afaik same lang ang price sa makita or maybe even lesser. d ko lang sure sa mga cordless pero sa corded and drills mas mura ung bili ko dati.
