Inline Blowgun Installation Tips?

I recently got this:

It's a Maxcraft Inline Blow-Gun. Looks sturdy enough.

This is my hose:

Note how nice the ends are.

Now, how do I insert that Blow Gun into the hose? Do I cut it and install couplers? It breaks my heart to mar the hose but if that's what I need to do, so be it.

What is the ideal distance from the business end of this hose should I install the blowgun?

I do not plan to use quick-connects for the blowgun because I don't foresee ever needing to remove it. But I welcome differing suggestions.

Re: Inline Blowgun Installation Tips?

Hi, b 🙂
Doesn't that Goodyear hose have a 1/4" NPT (M) terminal that screws directly
into the thread of the inline blowgun's (F) inlet?

The airtool of choice gets nippled into the blowgun's (F) outlet, so that you can
clear debris away from the workpiece/area without having to shift your grip on
the tool (weak-hand triggering of the blowgun).

In this video, the user seems to have had to make use of a reducer BEFORE
the blowgun inlet (a larger hose terminal, maybe? *shrug*):

Dunno if this helps.
