Ok naman Tagalog dito pero me mga Foreigners din kasi na members. Out of courtesy to them we post in English too.

Me mga members dito na meron ganyan mga cordless tools. Antayin natin baka mag post so at least magka idea ka from those who really own such tools that you mentioned.

I got 3 ryobi drill different types of model and there is no problemo

Yes brad, I have purchased too some cordless tools from known friends sa Sulit and these tools still works fine. Actually these second hand power tools are surplus items coming from Australia, though mostly Chinese made and what our local sellers here will brand it as " ALMOST BRAND NEW " but there are other items na talagang mukhang second hand na o laspag na, that is why they are priced that cheap.

My advice is to check or inspect very carefully the items you will buy with regards to these second hand power tools.

Hindi naman bawal mag reply or post ng message sa tagalog o pilipino, first of all pinoy forum ito diba ? kaya lang we also have members here na mga foreigners and also some of our post here gets included sa mga internet forum discussions when googled so we try to do the universal language so that others may understand what we are saying or talking about. Must be just bad luck, but I had a bad experience with the drill-driver I got from Sulit.

I got the green Ryobi cordless drill driver and, after a few months of use, it gave. Haven't opened it up yet to see if it's just the carbon but I have a Makita anyway which I abuse and still works great.

So, I guess, it's tiyempo-tiyempo. It's cheap but there are risks.

yes and no

the first i bought was mac brand and was a pos.

the next one was an almost new bd 12v and it's installed lots of walls, doors, assembled beds, installed roofs, etc.

i occasionally use it to drill pilot holes in wood, but 90% of the time it's a heavy duty screwdriver.

Sino dito nakabili na ng 2nd hand cordless drills/drill drivers sa **************?

ryobi ok naman

OK po ba ang performance... lalo na yung battery...
inaalala ko kasi is 2nd hand... baka bugbug sarado na yung battery...

@ narmenia, buying 2nd hand tools are good and a lot cheaper. i recommend to buy them personally at their shop so that you can test it before buying. if you buy it via online, make sure you read and understand their return policy in case the unit has some problem - my advice buy it direct from their shop. your right, for battery operated tools, the battery is always a risk when buying 2nd hand tools which is why it's better to buy it personally in the shop to test it ...

as for posting in english, what others said is right - so that the foreign members of PHM can understand the discussion. posting in tagalog is ok as most of us in this forum understand and speak tagalog ... cheers

swertihan talaga second hand lalo na sa cordless, dapat i-consider din yung battery compatibility sa ibang cordless tools and future upgrades, dito lamang yung mga big name brands , sa mga surplus yung ryobi one battery system nila compatible yung lumang nicad/nimh 18v tools nila sa mga new 18v lion battery at tools kaso medyo mataas din price,

ang cordless ko lang na powertools is used ozito 12v drill/driver at 12v multitool both same battery, ayoko talaga nang cordless kasi less power at useless kapag na low batt, kaso hindi ako nakatiis bilhin nung nakita ko sa HMR naka 70% off , 320 pesos each nalang 2 years ago, tapos nakabili din ako sa sulit nang kapareho na used 12v drill pero dead battery for 200 pesos lang, last july lang nakabili ulit ako sa HMR 70% off used 12v ozito multitool with 2 battery pa na 375 pesos lang price , 12v lang binibili ko para magaan at pwede ko rin ikabit sa computer power supply

12v drill and multitool bugbog gamit na gamit na sa akin sobrang usefull at madaling gamitin sa overhead fiber cement ceiling install or repair, flush & plunge cutting at sanding using multitool

issue ko lang sa ozito 12v battery matagal mag charge 2.5-3hrs to full charge 1.3ah

yun cordlessRyobi 18V impact drill was good weekend use for the first 1 year lang.
