The devil will find work for idle hands to do.-Morrissey
Re: air driven random orbit sanders
Would love to get my hands on this one as I do a lot of epoxy sanding. But the price is USD495!
So far, my 6-inch Ryobi's doing OK.
BTW, the Mirk-CEROS is electric motor driven.
Re: air driven random orbit sanders
If one does sanding day in day out then this will be a very good tool. Lighter is much better and less tiring.

Re: air driven random orbit sanders
besides, a tool which vibrates a lot will be transferred to joints of the hands producing osteoarthritis...an incapacitating disease as a result of repetitive injury.
what is 495 dollars for that purpose!;)

Stop it, please!
My willpower is slowly ebbing away.

Hurry before your box leaves 😀
PS: Or you may opt for the locally available ROS (mine is a Bosch GEX 12x series)
Re: air driven random orbit sanders
Ha-ha. My last box just left!
Seriously now. The ad says it's half the size and weight of a regular ROS. It then goes on to say that it makes very little noise & vibration. Now, I would think the mass of the thing allows it to dampen the vibration on the hands. So, somewhat contradictory. Now I'm skeptical!

Well smash it up and turn it into wine 😉
