I have to admit New Panda is tool heaven 🙂
But what other brands are value for money. I always drool over the tools posted here but alas I can't afford them 🙁 is there a brand and other shops that could be recommended. For personal use only

New Panda? Personal use? what tools are you looking for?
Panda Construction supply is the store we are refering to.
I buy my tools for personal use and not for lending.
hard to recommend unless we know what you are looking for specifically. Rikon is a good brand and Grizzly is decent with a good price to boot and there is Torq which is bang for the buck, but that is for a bandsaw. Is that what you are looking for?

Re: Automotive Tools

Thanks guys for the replies. What are the brands that you can recommend? Is powercraft any good? They seem to have reasonable prices. Will definitely check out panda, since it's on my way home from work.

yes i suggest you go to panda muna before you go to dau,

marami ka makikita sa panda na wala sa dau, at malapit ka lang sa binondo,... LRT, at konting

lakad lang...

before i go tool hunting sa dau, ( imagine i'm from bulakan, where i got my truper clamp )

now i go straight at binondo ( panda , that is ), malaki na natitipid ko....

malapit na e...:p :p

calling on panda ( 4 5 )

why create a thread on your available tools and it's price list...

for member's preferences...

Is Panda the one in Araneta? Oh I could have sworn it was New Panda 🙂
I'm looking for Automotive tools too. I just got some el cheapo tools to start it off but I recently got kings socket set from Panda recently.

Re: Automotive Tools

Hello sirs,

I'm planning to get also an air compressor this coming summer once i get the additional budget from wifey...Any brand you suggest? The Vespa brand is very common at shops. Is it a good buy?

If you're going to get a Vespa compressor I suggest you move on to the 2 HP model. The price difference between the 1 HP and the 2 HP is not that much but you get a lot more air for the money added. It will be worth it. Both 1 HP and 2 HP are of the same size with the latter just being a bit more heavier because of the bigger motor.

Millermatic 180 Autoset Mig Welder
Miller Spoolmate 100 Spool Gun
Victor Firepower 350 Oxy Ace Outfit
3M Speedglas 9002X AD Helmet
Makita LC1230 Dry Cut Saw
Ingersoll Rand Air Tools
Snap On Tools
Metabo Power Tools
Norseman Drill Cutting Tools
Bosch Power Tools
3M PPS

@BipMatinez

The Double Flaring tool kit you need is available at Panda. The price is around 1,500 pesos and the brand is Lota. Made in Taiwan.

If interested I will shoot a pic for you next time I go there.
