Long extensions and swivel adapters for clearance problems.

Driver side lower engine support was damaged during dismantling. The front suspension wip will have to wait until we get a new part.

Hopefully front side will be finished when this is done. The Energy Suspension Bushings for the Rear are still in the USA for shipping. Sorry bros medyo magulo ang WIP.

Wow! At first I thought that those Energy's are mid-priced but I was wrong! I know that my 323 Mazda had a tight engine bay, never thought the SIR also has one. These are the times where specific tools really do shine and i do get to understand 😀

Energy Suspension Urethane bushings are great if properly installed. However in my opinion these are too hard for regular daily driver cars. Ride comfort is sacrificed in favor of performance.

Obstructions are a major hurdle when working on tight engine bays. This is where specialty tools shine.

The back side engine support was a bit difficult to install. We needed to take out 2 coolant lines ( for the heater ) in order to take it out and reinstall. The hose clamp pliers made the job easier.

The coil overs are Tein and fully adjustable both in damping and ride height.

Personally I'm done with fast cars and just assist ( tooling ) the younger ones. I guess age caught up already. I'd rather have a long bed pickup to haul metal and wood if I had the funds. 🙂

Our new Helper / Trainee ... Tampy

My favorite Box Wrenches . Lower 5 wrenches are 15 Degress ( Snap On ) and top 5 are 60 degrees ( Craftsman Pro ) offset respectively. Moji ... the Heyco wrenches you have are 75 degrees offset.

Obstruction wrenches . Flex Head gear wrenches, Stubby Gear wrenches, Angled Open Wrenches ( 30 degrees / 60 degrees ) and some Crowfoot wrenches.

Around 5 secs each to take out each nut using a 3/8" drive air impact wrench.

Rear coil over. The shock body itself has threads. The 2 green rings can be moved up or down to lower or raise the ride height.

Still hunting for a proper cart but this will do for now ... a converted food cart. Two carts will be a good setup. Positioned on left side and the other on the right side of the car for efficiency.

This car came home wounded a few months ago and had been stuck in the garage since then. Damaged and mis aligned front suspension from a skid mishap. Driver side rim was hit badly and unrepairable.

Today it will be back on the road again.
