Hi PHM! Like most of you, I like my projects sleek, clean and fast (no-rework). I wanted to know what "long" straight edge are you using in your general construction work? multi purpose as possible - such as for wall plastering, checking vertical and horizontal consistency, etc..

I tried to use a metal sliding door track before (5 feet i believe) . Easily accessible in most hardwares and sturdy. Im sure there are more better items to use, any suggestions experts?
