HAPPY B DAY bro bugel, that Bosch GWS 7-100 angle grinder is very nice to use and very nice to grip due to the slim body. Kudos to you or your wife for a good choice.

Actually ang pinag pipilian ko yung variable speed and paddle switch..
Kaso nga lang kung..

Variable speed- medyo mahal baka hindi ko naman magamit yung features

Paddle switch-gusto ko sana dahil mas safe..pero makapal naman ang kaha nya..

Kaya stick na lang ako sa skinny grinder..

Along the way when were going home..my wife ask me if im happy with my new

Wife: ba't parang iba yung nakita kung pinapanuod mo sa you tube?

Ito ang binayaran ko dito..kick back stop feature..it automatically stop the motor when the cutting disc jams!

Operator friendly..two times nako nababasagan ng cutting wheel..whew..scare to death ako..lol! I thought to my self i gonna save my pennies just to have this type of angle grinder.si sir timber/jay meron din yata nato.kay sir timb ko lang nalaman/nabasa ko sa post nya..

Here is the pics i save..the cutting disc jams while i removing the weld in the angle bar..mild lang to dahil nung first time kung nabasagan ng disc i actually hear the broken disc banging in the wheel guard! And the disc turn into pieces!:eek:

I tend to remove the guard pa naman when i'm cutting in an off position..
Oh my its a big no no! Mula nun kahit pikado or nakaharang yung guard
Di ko na inaalis.

Yes i must admit..my wife is good when choosing power tools..
The last time i bought ( drill press ) shes the one who push me to get a durable one.
When she learned the importance of kick back stop feature agad agad pinabili na nya ko..:p

Bro bugel, when using a cutting disc that thin which I also use, never, never remove the grinder guard, :nono: kasi 50/50 chances pwedeng mag shatter ang disc which can be very dangerous. Oks lang kung thick grinding disc yan, pwede pa. Though I have not experienced yet of cutting disc shattering
during metal fabs.

I suppose one cause of cutting disc breaking up is its being forced too hard on the metal you are cutting plus some additional unintentional and accidental twisting of the disc. 😮

May order na si SWMBO sa akin. Gate repair. he he he. Hirap na mag hacksaw kapag ganito na ang work. Masakit sa katawan. Hindi pa efficient...
